Stone inscription of scenic spots

www.chinanews.cn 2006-02-21 16:05:38

A large stone-inscribed relief fresco named "Scenic Spots in the Ancient
City of Yangxian" (now Yixing), known as Yixing's "Riverside Scenes in
Qingming Festival," was completed on the bank of Yixing's Xijiu Lake.
This fresco is 17 meters long and three meters tall and is sculpted with
bluestone. It can be honored as "No. 1 fresco in Yixing" and will
contrast finely with the rebuilt Jiao Bride located on the bank of Xijiu
Lake, becoming another cultural scene in the Xijiu Lake landscape zone.
